woke up at 8. went to bathe and spent 15 FRIGGIN MINUTES trying to wear contacts. my left one very stubborn today:
met zy to pass alicia her long-due bday prez. left it outside what we thought was her hse.. end up wrong floor. Oo
went back to ziyan's block and suddenly heard some wailing noises that sounded like a baby. thought it was under a car or sth. walked towards it then suddenly it came from somewhr else O.o ziyan said it was a CAT. really? whoa.
then suddenly. got ANOTHER cat mewing. from second floor. peeping down and mewing. then after a while disappeared. i told ziyan it must have come down to see the other cat(a ginger cat in the DRAIN). sure enough, 2 min later it came down. it was a tame cat. someone owned it. it was having KITTENS i think. after a while decided to lift that metal grate up. but the cat wouldnt jump up. ran away somewhr in that maze of drains):
whn we were just abt to lift the grate up. the female tame cat BUTTED MY BUTT. she either butted my butt or licked it. O.o whoa.
erm. yan's mum sent me, yan and val to Bethesda Chapel. then ziyan went to get pee. so val and i waited there. so conspicuous so paiseh la. >< cos the 4 of us all wearing class tee. how jialat is that lol. svc was okay i guess. just that... the hymns. -coughcough- lets just put it this way: i hvnt sung hymns in a long time, if ever.
then communion. hmm quite differently. interesting. they use REAL bread and wine. whoa. and only baptised ppl take. hey zp is baptised i nv knew lol.
then there was some class thing... our equivalent of cell i guess. okay la.
erm. next was AMAZING RACE. we had a light lunch first. sandwiches. YUMMY:D
okay. it was RAINING. drizzling rather. and i nv knew we had to RUN O.o we did anyway. but first 2 stations(there were 5) we walked. slacked la.
FIRST: from Kembangan, whr ziyan's church was, we went to a 7-11 outlet Choon Guan street at Tanjong Pagar. were given 2 choices: either climb 12 flights of stairs TWICE or find Fairfield Methodist Church and take picture w the station master there. we didnt rush alot la. then went back to 7-11. got next clue and the rest decided to chiong back to mrt station. OMGOSH how could i forget? LYDIA, our veryvery nice CAMERAMAN:D haha. she followed us. (sounds like stalker lol)
went to Dhoby Ghaut next. erm. somewhr near Singapore Shopping Centre. seemed to have heard of it.. near plaza sing apparently. some LOVE sign. found it anw. task was to drink a bottle of ginseng. okay la. just tt i dont really like ginseng. some ppl had to eat wasabe! so i guess we were lucky(: ziyan liked it. HUR. went on to erm. Potong Pasir. on the train there we SAT on the floor. i think its the first time i've ever done that. in my memory anyway. fun can. lol.
at Potong Pasir met another team. boys. kinda competed w them..? we had to climb a spider web and get some tape right at the top. i was like. SHIT im afraid of heights. ziyan went up first i went second. and trust me, if i hadnt been so hesitant in climbing the thing(as in. dunno whr to go how to climb scared fall down tt kinda thing), we'd prob have been ahead of the guys. yeah. i took AGES to climb tt thing. finally got the tape. going down was MUCH easier(: then val, then pee. quite thankful i wore my new jeans(also sad. NEW leh) cos they are more 'stretchy' than my other pairs. then a mad rush off back to the mrt station. had to go to orchard.
sigh. i think we wasted alot of time waiting for trains. ALWAYS 7 minutes. >< lalala. had to go to Pacific Plaza. like. wth is that? called joshua toh and asked. then called AGAIN and asked for dunno what. i think was for directions lol. cos if i called my aunt. dunno whether she'd pick up. and if i could hear her haha. thanks anyway!
yeah we got to orchard and ran all the way. wow. running in orchard is FUN. really. how often do u RUN a longlong way in orchard? we ran in the underground, ran up the overhead bridge and down.. so tiring okay. today we climbed up and down escalators, ran travelators and dashed the stairs. zp and val ALOT of energy dunno how they do it. i think im superbly unfit:\ yup. reached the place and had to eat salty stuff. salted BEANS, FISH, EGGS, WATER. Lydia wasnt there cos she went to buy us BUBBLE TEA:D yup. i ate the fish. wow. very nice. really((: had a large gulp of salt water. almost choked then spat the whole thing down the drain. oops. haha thanks mozzie for eating the beans! they looked GROSS.
rushed off AGAIN after unscrambling the clue to our last station. NORTH POINT. had to go to Yishun. RAH. so had to cross over to Wheelocks. i made a mad dash and ran across the road when there was 04 seconds left. cool huh((: waited for the other 3 then went to mrt station and met Lydia(with our drinks XP).
we *ahem-ed* in the train! so openly! -oops- first time leh. heh. PASSION FRUIT!!! :D then when i almost finished it i decided not to *ahem* anymore cos if i did i might puke. yeah reached Yishun. task: give out 5 sweets to 5 different ppl each. wah easy okay. heh. give adults mostly dont want. the kids ALL came to get. after we were done some kids even came to the station masters(and sweets) to get more lah! SO CUTE lol.
took train back. RAN back. so tired! we weren't last, to our immense surprise. 11th. out of 13 groups(: quite gd considering we slacked. top 3 prizes were $100, $50 and $30 vouchers for Swensens. ohwell. at least we exercised. hope i got the fats off can. doubt though. they let us see some pictures they took. rah so paiseh! we got a box of 16 Ferrero Rochers(sp?) each too:D yum. okay i ate back all the fats i lost -glum-
then there was this really funny game thing where we all had to move our butts. like. if the person say left then all left. (we were in rows) then it was: your left. your left. your left your front your back. your left your front your left your back your left your front your back!!! :D so fun! hahaha. retarded and embarrassing though. lalala. then it was alternate: face front;face back. so when it was left. our hips all collided. whoa what abt those girls standing beside guys eh? LOL. i was between val and zp. haha so FUN. i wonder if they do this in (my) church the ppl will do anot. heh.
dinner: buffet on the 4th floor, open air. DELICIOUS!! omgosh. :D:D:D
we ate standing up and admring the setting sun. awww. then went to a corner to sing and stuff;D we saw the sun set. so nice!! :D haha. then went to sit down and sing. singsingsing. trying to think of songs to sing LOL. about 7, 8 plus decided to go home cos it was drizzling lightly.
went back down to collect our bags. cos we went up(and down) via a staircase(stairwell) which echoed, i yawned. like. the one that they say sounds like a siren. just once. LOL. echooooo. XD
the guys were playing table tennis. pro pro. lol. watched them a while then went back. we sat on the floor again haha. reached and ziyan's dad sent us home.
well. would just like to say a hearty THANKS to ziyan, zp and val and Bethesda Chapel for such a fun and eventful day(: really. i hvnt let my hair down in a longlonglong time. the butt thing very fun la. i mean. i highly doubt i'd do that in my own church. sad huh. hmm. longlong time? how about never? as in letting my hair down so much. i dont think i ever did, in my own church:\ there're always expectations to live up to. expectations that i have, want and NEED to live up to. heh. i dont even JUMP la. much less shake butts all over. it was fun. really. tiring, exhausting, funny, but fun.
